Orange County Business Journal’s Best Place to Work 2021 Award
(Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, August 11, 2021) US Alliance Group, Inc (USAG), revolutionizing the payment processing industry, today announced it was named one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in Orange County. The company ranks among the top 12 companies honored with the award that was established by Orange County Business Journal and the Best Companies Group to recognize companies to expatiate Orange County’s economy, workforce, businesses, and communities.
Fadi Cheikha, CEO of USAG said “My philosophy has always been that for us to become a family, USAG needs to be an example to our employees. I believe that since working in an office is a 40-hour/ week job, it should mirror the family time spent at home, so we chose to become a second family for our employees in the office. We care not only for the financial well-being of each employee, but we also care for their health, personal wellbeing, and overall happiness. This award means a lot to me because this is a testimony that my employees believe in too.”
USAG promotes healthy living by encouraging and rewarding its employees to participate in events such as RAGNAR, standing workstations, monthly team walking challenges, and onsite gym with employee family and friend access. USAG’s CEO, Fadi Cheikha, and his wife Kim Cheikha, founded Aiden Whisper, a nonprofit charity that helps support a number of organizations where 100-percent of donations go directly to the organizations themselves. USAG employees are awarded “ETO” days where they are encouraged to donate their time to Aiden Whisper, other charities, community events, or self-improvement.
Employee benefits include an open office environment, contributions to IRA plan, healthcare options including a 100-percent employer-paid plan for the employee and eligible dependents. To show further appreciation, USAG hosts an abundance of activities for its employees throughout the year including catered luncheons, monthly raffles, and exciting outings that promote bonding and community.
Organizations spanned across the county entered the two-part evaluation process to be considered Orange County Business Journal’s Best Place to Work award. The first part is managed by the Best Companies Group where they assess each organization’s workplace practices, policies, and demographics. While the second part evaluates employee satisfaction measured by surveys overseen by Orange County. The Best Place to Work is calculated by the combined highest score from both parts and awarded to the top organization.
